Marina and Tristan's Wedding
Their wedding followed a Victorian Seaside Resort theme. The invitation was a postcard featuring the wedding site with
the actual wording on the message side of the card. We designed a baseball stamp to reflect the groom's likes and
"postmarked" it with their engagement date. Die-cut shells served as reception/reply cards. "Extras" included printed
strips made to look like vintage amusement park photos and a miniature of a favorite caricature.
We designed save-the-dates, shower invitations, programs, menus, etc. to correspond with the theme, staying in close
touch with the bride and groom's occasional changes in direction. Centerpieces of printed, die-cut sandcastles wrapped
floating candles. Place cards using miniature antique postcard reproductions directed the guests to tables using the
same cards as part of their table decoration.
Sample Costs
Invitation Art Work (including all envelopes, two shell cards and "extras") - $1000; Printing (per 25 sets) - TBA

Jennifer and Chris's Wedding
Jennifer said, "I would like my wedding invitation to have a presidential theme and I wish it could
look as though it had been found in a box in an attic after laying there for ninety years. Can you do
that?"
And that’s what we did!
The invitation, reception card and response card were hand painted on an airbrushed background, the
letters fading slightly from dark to light shades of brown. We added calligraphy to the
envelopes once they were delivered from the printer. The invitation package was accented with a wax
seal and a presidential postage stamp.
A monogram of Jennifer and Chris’s initials was designed for use throughout the
package and liners were produced for the main envelope and printed in a paper and color of Jennifer’s
choice. The basic color scheme was used throughout the project.
"I’d love a silhouette of Chris and me as an additional piece, and perhaps there’d be a way to include
a favorite quote from President Jefferson on love and friendship."
We used the same "aging" technique as on the invitation.
We produced a map using a colonial style with the first panel showing the U.S. as it appeared
in 1800. The wedding was in an Orlando church with the reception at Disney’s Epcot Center. Again, this was hand
painted/lettered on an airbrushed background.
We kept the old Presidential look when producing the invitations for the bridal shower and the
bachelorette party. These pieces were produced
using the same hand-painted/airbrushed technique, but made to be photocopied, single-sided and folded, (like
a greeting card) on a color copier to save some expense.
Follow-up notes and invitations to the rehearsal dinner were
handled as one-color pieces and photocopied, yet they retained a bit of flair and didn't compromise our theme.
Program covers, menu covers and thank you cards/envelopes followed the couple's color scheme.
Wedding favors in the form of small signed and numbered watercolor prints were produced. Since Jennifer
and Chris had their wedding reception at Disney’s Epcot Center in the Bistro de Paris the prints were of
this restaurant and Disney’s Wedding Pavilion.
We finished with place cards using the presidential seal and calligraphied names on the
front and a line illustration of a president’s home inside.
Table centerpieces coordinated with the attendees' place cards.
A hand-painted attendance scroll was made in a size to allow easy framing. Places were lightly
indicated for individual signatures with a handful of Jennifer’s favorite presidents "signing"
in advance.

Entire invitation package as shown - invitations, reception/reply cards, monogram/envelope
liners, silhouette/quote, map - approximately $1500. Printing is additional.
Or you may opt for just wedding shower and party invitations - $350 for each invitation package. Printed

from shop to shop and depend on quantities, choice of paper stock, availability of envelopes, etc.
